Aspers Casinos is the first casino operator to gain third party certification as a "Code Compliant" operator demonstrating compliance with the Surveillance Camera Commissioner Code of Practice. Andy Brooks of Televigil says "It was a privilege to have been given the opportunity to advise this professional organisation, that has had the foresight to be able to promote, reassure clients and employees, by voluntarily adopting the Surveillance Camera Commissioners "Code of Practice."
The casino security and surveillance operation is base at the Westfield, Stretford, London and is the largest casino in the UK. The other casinos in the group are remotely monitored from the main surveillance control room. Technology includes high definition Video and Audio surveillance, Body Worn Video and Facial Recognition, all of which was covered within the system performance assessment and operational audit by Televigil, prior to Third Part Certification by the National Security Inspectorate - NSI. #Asperscasino #Westfield #Surveillance #CCTV #GDPR #Dataprotection #casino #securitymanagement #retailsecurity
The changes in Data Protection legislation in 2018, presented my business with the opportunity to work with various system integrators, ARC's and FM/Manned guarding service providers, as well as end users. Televigil Security & Compliance Consultants are now part of the NSI Associate Consultancy Programme (ACP) as a referral facility for businesses seeking help with Certification and business development. www.nsi.org.uk/information-centre/nsi-associate-consultancies/ This year, our expectation is that more organisations will realise the benefits of voluntarily adopting the Surveillance Camera Commissioners Code of Practice, gain certification and be able to show the marque that they are a "Code Compliant" surveillance scheme operator. We have been successful in facilitating this initiative for a number of organisations that seek to ensure compliance with current data protection and privacy legislation. This includes risk and data protection impact assessments, operational requirement, system performance assessment, operational audit, provision of policy documentation to support the Surveillance Camera Commissioner’s “Code of Practice”, “Code Compliant” operator’s scheme, prior to applying for Third Party Certification. hashtag#business hashtag#security hashtag#gdpr hashtag#dataprotection hashtag#surveillance <iframe src="https://www.linkedin.com/embed/feed/update/urn:li:share:6486919644958519296" height="704" width="504" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
